Clip Clash is a free tournament bracket tool for Twitch clips. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

When you sign in with Twitch, we receive and store:

• Your Twitch user ID
• Your Twitch display name
• Your Twitch profile avatar URL

When you use the service, we also store:

• Brackets you create (titles, descriptions, clip selections, seeding)
• Votes you cast in brackets
• Chat votes submitted during live brackets

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide the Clip Clash service:

• Authenticating your identity via Twitch
• Displaying your brackets and voting history
• Running bracket tournaments and tallying votes

We do not sell, share, or rent your personal data to any third parties. We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or profiling purposes.

Third-Party Services

Clip Clash relies on the following third-party services:

• Twitch — OAuth authentication, clip embeds (iframes), and IRC chat integration for live voting. Twitch's own privacy policy applies to data collected by Twitch.
• Database & Auth Provider — We use a managed database and authentication service to store your data securely.
• Hosting Provider — Our hosting provider may set functional cookies for performance and security purposes.

Cookies

Clip Clash uses only functional cookies required for authentication (session tokens). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or analytics cookies.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. If you would like your account and associated data deleted, please contact us and we will process your request promptly.

Children's Privacy

Clip Clash is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
